OUR LOCAVORE STORY

who

what

why

Moon's believes in "buying idaho" and currently serves local produce including potatoes, onions, coffee, and breads.

FUN FACT: Moon's Kitchen purchases and uses roughly 1200-1500 lbs. of Idaho potatoes and onions every week.

Owner , Gary Torrey, says his main motivations to buy locally are to support Idaho's economy while simultaneously providing food of the highest quality to his loyal customers.

Since Gary Torrey and his family took over Moon's Kitchen Café in 2012 they have gradually reworked the restaurant's menu to include more and more locally grown products.
